Summer Camp

Also known as “School in the Wilderness,” this program brings the best of therapeutic outdoor programs and adventure therapy together with an incredibly exciting summer camp-type experience designed to produce dramatic positive results in at-risk youth. Residents of Boys & Girls Town of Missouri, Woodland Spring Lodge, and Edgewood Children’s Center, along with many foster care and other Great Circle programs participate in a week-long camp filled with hiking, challenge courses, waterfront activities, climbing, horseback riding, land navigation and boating. Along with these activities, youth are able to participate in exciting summer camp activities in a safe structured environment that allows them to make positive decisions and changes in their lives, while at the same time, build memories of “camp” that will last a lifetime.
